DESIGN SERVICES
Stonecrest Engineering designs are customized to suit your needs. This may include additions or renovations to existing facilities, or completely new facilities. Our experienced staff can offer advice on your facility by:

Drawing packages can also be personalized to suit your needs. Some customers choose to do a “bid set” of drawings. This unstamped, preliminary set of drawings provides enough information to contractors to provide an accurate estimate as to the cost of construction. Complete engineer stamped facility drawings typically include a floor plan, foundation plan, roof bracing plan, cross sections, wall and connection details and exterior elevations. Other optional services include site plans, three dimensional colour renderings or interactive electronic models.
ENGINEERED CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AND RENDERINGS
With computer aided design and BIM software we are able not only provide our clients with construction/ permit ready structural drawings but can also create a 3D virtual model of your barn so that you can view it at the comfort of your own computer. We are capable of creating photo-realistic renderings of both the inside and outside of your new facility or generate an animated “walk-through”. We believe that giving you the opportunity to see what the final project will look like before it’s even built will assist your pre-construction planning, by providing valuable presentations to all parties involed in making your vision a reality.
INSPECTIONS & ON-SITE ENGINEERING REVIEW
Stonecrest Engineering’s onsite inspection services comfort you in knowing that your facility is built to specification and meets all government and building code standards. Service to the customer does not end with a set of blueprints. Our staff is onsite to inspect soil conditions, examine footings and reinforcement, review framing, truss erection and bracing as well as perform a final project review. We are always available to assist the farmer or contractor with minor design modifications or to provide technical assistance.
In today’s modern world, engineering design can be done from almost anywhere. Consequently, Stonecrest Engineering also offers inspection services to other professionals who may have construction projects in our geographic area.
